It’s not easy to convince someone of their self worth and greatness

if they are unable to see it for themselves.

Regardless of how many times you tell them otherwise

They can’t shake off those doubts and inner fears

which might seem miniscule or non existent from the outside but is real to them on the inside.

We may not be flying super heroes or wizards in ivory towers making potions,

but we are humans at the end of the day

trying to be the best that we can be,

and working on the masterpiece titled ‘Ourselves’.

We may not be able to see the big picture and that’s okay.

If someone else saw the light in you and you couldn’t

well that’s okay too,

because just like most books you’ll reach that chapter too.

It’s just that they happen to see it a little bit before you.

  1. Everything you said is totally true and honestly i’m this type of person whom ppl would be saying all good stuff abt but then find it hard to believe like where is the beauty y’all talking abt? Where is the cuteness? So i totally relate if anyone passing by is feeling the same 😂😶👀 Thank you for bringing up this topic~🌸💕

    • Thank you so much Yiena and I was the same as well and would ignore it but eventually I learned I needed to believe and trust in myself.

      • Yeah i remember i once was kinda being abit sarcastic to this someone saying “haha you are quite confident in yourself!” He was like “yes it’s my own self and if i don’t believe in it no one would” i was surprised and it really makes sense now thinking abt it ~

  2. This hit home: “They can’t shake off those doubts and inner fears / which might seem miniscule or non existent from the outside but is real to them on the inside.” You’re right in that the what is real to us become reality to us. And self-doubt and self-rejection is hard and we all have moments of it. This part is awesome as well: “because just like most books you’ll reach that chapter too.” Clever writing!
